AbstractAbstract
[en] The use of EDTA in operating steam generators in pressurized water nuclear power plants is described as a possibility of avoiding the formation of deposits and negative effects on the standardized characteristics of the water regime. The mechanisms of removing deposits already present and of forming a protective layer under the conditions of the complexon water regime are described. Advantages of the technique as compared with the uncorrected and the ammonia-hydrazine operation are outlined. (author)
