[en] The economic effectiveness of a nuclear power plant with pressurized-water reactors of 1000 MW(e) was examined and compared with the economic effectiveness of a black- and brown coal plants with 360 MW power units. The results show that under Polish conditions (price level 1979) a nuclear power plant is one of the most profitable type. (author)
