AbstractAbstract
[en] The MSR technique has been used to study the reactivity of muonium with I2 and I3- in the presence and absence of cyclodextrins. The chemical reaction rate constant was found to change by the addition of α or β cyclodextrins due to the formation of inclusion compounds. These results represent one of our first attempts to apply the MSR technique to study changes in both mechanism and rate which are encountered in transforming from a dilute aqueous solution to one resembling a real biological system.
