[en] An interpretation of the muon hyperfine interactions in α-Fe2O3 and Cr2O3 in terms of muon bond formation (analoguos to hydrogen bonding) is suggested. A simple model is used to determine the muon site, taking into account dipolar as well as covalent contributions to the effective magnetic field. (orig.)
