AbstractAbstract
[en] This paper discusses the problem of modeling the NMR correlation functions in dynamically heterogeneous (liquid-solid) systems. It is shown that the mere presence of solid surfaces causes the appearance of solid-like features in the NMR response of the liquid even if its dynamics are not directly affected by the surfaces. Some of these topological or indiret surface effects are of the same kind as the recently explored low-dimensionality effects. In the water-protein systems, many features of the NMR response appear due to the indirect surface effects instead of the presence of bonded water. (orig.)
