AbstractAbstract
[en] Successes which have been obtained in using the MIT bag model as a phenomenological description of the hadronic spectrum and some of the difficulties encountered, such as that of describing the long-range N-N force in a quark model, are discussed. A number of models suggested by various workers in an attempt to overcome these difficulties, which introduce the concept of pionic corrections, are reviewed. (U.K.)
