AbstractAbstract
[en] Ductile alloy with ordered long structure and low neutron cross section for structural components like fuel cladding in thermal and fast reactors or for first wall material in fusion reactors. The nominal composition is V(Fe,Ni)3 or V(Fe,Ni,Co)3 with an electron density below about 8, consisting of vanadium 22 to 23%, iron 35 to 50%, cobalt 0 to 22% and nickel 19 to 40% in weight. The order-disorder transition temperature is higher than 6000C, the tensile strength, at room temperature, higher than 1000 MPa with an elongation higher than 30%

Alliage a structure longue ordonnee et ductile presentant de faibles sections d'absorption des neutrons pour des composants de structure tels que le doublage du combustible dans les reacteurs rapides et thermiques et en tant que materiau de premiere paroi dans les reacteurs thermonucleaires controles.
