AbstractAbstract
[en] Radioactivity content of the coal and fly-ash samples from three thermal power stations (Viz. Dhuvaran, Gandhinagar and Ukai), in Gujarat State is given. Estimated discharges of radioactivity to the environment have also been given. The health effects of radionuclide releases are assessed in the light of present knowledge and also compared with the health effects associated with chemical pollutants. (K.M.)
