AbstractAbstract
[en] The thermoluminescent method for measuring radioactive doses of the environment is presented. The method belongs to the integral methods, that enable the dose measuring during a long period of time, in various points of locality at a time, on an extended territory and with a comparatively high accuracy. The results of laboratory investigations into the detectors of various forms, containing different luminescent compositions with phosphorus are given. The investigations have shown that most stable detectors are the ones made of lithium fluoride. The experiments with the application of the thermoluminescent method for measuring radioactive doses to estimate the environment in Poland are described. The composition and the design of the automatic system for the dose measurement is considered. It is noted that the method permits to measure doses from 1 mrad and higher. The error in measuring doses from 5 mrad is +-6%
