[en] The rapid development of nuclear energetics has caused a wide range of problems, pertaining to the influence of nuclear power plants on the operating personnel, on the environment and on the population of the near-by areas. To ensure normal operating conditions of the reactor, constant radiation monitoring is exercised. Given are the data of measuring concentrations of radioactive gases and aerosols in the area of ''Kozloduj'' nuclear power plant premises. The individual monitoring has been exercised using films and dosimeters. It is shown that technological equipment and measure, used to provide radiation protection for the personnel, ensure conditions necessary for reliable power plant performance, as well as the minimum irradiation of the nuclear power plant personnel
