AbstractAbstract
[en] With a judicious choice of cadmium filter size and thickness, it is possible to use the information from the 7LiF detectors used in an albedo neutron personnel dosimeter to determine an individual's X-and γ-ray exposure, thus eliminating the need for a separate dosimeter for this purpose. A filter area of 400 mm2 and a thickness of 0.51 mm is shown to be optimum for a simple, plastic, dosimeter design using detectors held in dental-film size cards. (author)
