AbstractAbstract
[en] The Large Coil Test Facility (LCTF) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory will provide an environment for the testing of a compact, toroidal six-coil array. Each of the six coils are designed to the same performance specification, yet each design team chose different solutions to the specifications. The test stand (a component of the LCTF that supports the large coils) is designed to provide restraint for a variety of both in-plane and out-of-plane loading conditions while supporting one to six dissimilar coils. The current design analysis of the LCTF test stand is documented. These magnets are intended for fusion applications. 13 refs
