AbstractAbstract
[en] Conformal invariance gives a prediction of the power law (s/t scaling) for quasielastic scattering of elementary particles at large angles. In this note we show that for the corresponding scattering of mass-0 and massive particles [(γ, ν, nu-bar) and (π, p)] the inelastic channels are extremely restricted as there is at most one higher-twist contribution. This represents a decisive test for conformal symmetry
