AbstractAbstract
[en] Preliminary results for the virtual photon total cross section on carbon, copper and lead targets are presented. The data were obtained in a 209 GeV muon scattering experiment at Fermilab. For absolute photon invariant mass, Q2 of less than 1.0 (GeV)2 shadowing occurs; the cross section per nucleon decreases as the size of the nucleus increases. Above Q2 = 1.0 (GeV)2 the shadowing diminishes
