[en] Starting from an Edwards-Anderson type of model for a spin glass, and adopting the Boltzmann formalism, an expression for the magnetoresistance in spin glass alloys is obtained. The results are in good qualitative agreement with experimental results of Majumdar and Nigam (1979) on AuFe, AuCr, AgCr, AgMn and CuMn alloys. The source of the positive magnetoresistance in the experimental work at low applied magnetic fields cannot be explained on the basis of this model, but the negative contribution is quantitatively correct near the glass transition temperature Tsub(g).
