[en] High-voltage generators of various types applied in modern high-voltage power accelerators are considered. The following types of generators are presented: symmetric Cockroft-Walton generator, dynamitron, transformer with insulated core, generators with closed and open magnetic circuit, resonant transformer. Dependences of their maximum permissible power under variations of dimensions, current and voltage are determined. It is pointed out that at further accelerator power increase the advantages of high-voltage generators with inductive connection become determining μSRT
