AbstractAbstract
[en] The influence of UV predose on the repair of DNA double strand breaks in gamma and UV-irradiated E. coli B/r Hcr+ cells was studied. Application of UV predose decreased the production of double strand breaks during excision repair in UV-irradiated cells and facilitated their elimination in gamma-irradiated cells. It is supposed that proteins induced by UV predose participate in the repair of DNA double strand breaks. (author)
