AbstractAbstract
[en] The aim of this work was to investigate the characteristics of fission in the interaction of 13 MeV/u Ne beams with Au targets. The results of this experiment performed on the ALICE facility at Orsay will make a low energy reference for further studies on similar systems to be developed at CERN at higher energies. At 13 MeV/u fission occurs after full momentum transfer for 90% of the observed events. Charged particles (p,α) detected in coincidence with fission exhibit the properties expected for an evaporative process taking place prior to fission. At this energy there is no hint for two-body friction resulting from elementary nucleon-nucleon collisions

Le but du travail presente dans ce memoire etait de preciser dans quelles conditions intervenait la fission dans l'interaction de faisceaux de Ne a 13 MeV/u et de noyaux d'Au; cette etude realisee sur l'accelerateur ALICE a Orsay, doit etre completee par la suite, au CERN, sur le meme systeme, mais avec des energies incidentes allant jusqu'a 70 MeV/u. A basse energie il ressort que pour 90% des evenements observes, la fission intervient apres fusion complete du projectile avec la cible. Les particules chargees (p,α) observees en coincidence avec les fragments de fission presentent des caracteristiques cinematiques de celles attendues pour une evaporation a partir du noyau de fusion et precedent donc la fission.
