AbstractAbstract
[en] The molecular auto-association mechanisms in sodium-oleate-alcohol-alkane-water systems were studied, applying positron and positronium annihilation techniques. The effects of the different component structures of these systems and of their concentrations on the swelled micel formation process which eventually produce microemulsions, were also investigated. The influences studied were: a) co-surfactant (alcohol) hydrocarbon chain lengths, b) alkane (oil) hydrocarbon chain lengths, c) surfactant concentrations, and d) surfactant double link alkylic chains.
