AbstractAbstract
[en] Recent studies of the 12C(16O,α)24Mg reaction at E(16O) = 145 Mev have revealed the existence of several broad states with E sub(X)(24Mg) = 20 to 60 MeV. The energies of these states have been taken as evidence that they are members of the 12C + 12C molecular band J sup(π) = (10+) through J sup(π) = (18+). Subsequent investigation of the properties of these states, however, has failed to reveal the expected partial width for 24Mg* → 12C + 12C. It is shown that these states can be interpreted as an extension of the 24Mg Yrast sequence which is populated by the well understood high spin selectivity of α particle evaporation from a 28Si compound nucleus. Estudos recentes da reacao 12C(16O,α)24Mg para E(16O) = 145 MeV tem revelado a existencia de varios estados largos com E sub(X)(24Mg) = 20 a 60 MeV. As energias desses estados tem sido tomadas como evidencia de que eles sao membros da banda molecular J sup(π) = (10+) do 12C+12C atraves da J sup(π) = (18+)f. A subsequente investigacao das propriedades desses estados,entretanto,nao tem conseguido revelar as larguras parciais esperadas para 24Mg*→12C+12C. Mostram-se que esses estados podem ser interpretados como uma extensao da sequencia Yrast 24Mg que e preenchida pela bem conhecida seletividade de alto spin da evaporacao de particula α de um nucleo de 28Si composto.
