AbstractAbstract
[en] Determinations of residual gas concentrations by heating and by X microanalysis were respectively carried out on particles (TANGO program) and on sections of fuel rods, perfectly characterized as to fabrication and irradiation history. A threshold release temperature of 12500C+-1000C was determined irrespective of the type of oxide and the irradiation history in the 18,000-45,000 MWdt-1(U) specific burnup field. The overall analyses of gas released from the fuel rods show that, in the PWR operating conditions, the fraction released remains less than 1% up to a mean specific burnup of 35000 MWdt-1(U). The release of gases should not be a limiting factor in the increase of specific burnups

Des mesures de concentrations de gaz residuel par chauffage et par microanalyse X ont ete realisees respectivement sur des particules (programme TANGO) et des sections de crayons combustibles, parfaitement caracterisees (fabrication, historique d'irradiation). Une temperature seuil de degagement du xenon de 12500C+-1000C a ete determinee quels que soient le type d'oxyde et l'historique d'irradiation dans le domaine de combustion massique 18000-45000 MWdt-1(U). Les analyses globales de gaz degage dans les crayons combustibles montrent que, jusqu'a present, dans les conditions de fonctionnement des PWR, la fraction degagee reste inferieure a 1% jusqu'a une combustion massique moyenne de 35000 MWdt-1(U).
