AbstractAbstract
[en] Steady-state numerical results for the solution to the non-linear thermal problem of combined free and forced laminar convection in inclined rectangular channels with constant but unequal surface temperature are presented for an incompressible, viscous fluid whose Prandtl number, Pr = 0.73. Fluid properties are assumed constant, except for density variations with temperature. Maximum values exist for the mean friction factor, Nusselt and Stanton numbers when the inclination to the horizontal lies between 300 and 600 for a given Archimedes number, Ar. Also, for any given inclination a unique solution exists when Ar = 0,50. (Author)

Para fluido incompressivel, viscoso, Pr = 0,73, estado estavel, sao analisados, problemas termicos nao lineares, presentes em conveccao natural e forcada em dutos retangulares inclinados com temperatura de parede constante, foi observado que existem valores maximos para o fator medio de atrito, Numeros de Nusselt e Stantom, quando a inclinacao do duto esta entre 300 e 600, e um determinado valor do numero do Arquimedes (Ar).
