AbstractAbstract
[en] Retention of the toroidal field coils from tipping with side forces in tokamaks is one of the main engineering problems. Reactive restoring momentum acts in the structural version of the facility with a supporting cylinder at the absense of arched thrust between coils on the curvilinear surface of the coil and cylinder contact. This momentum is proportional to the coil gravitation force towards the facility center. Experimental test of the given dependence has been carried out on models of the supporting cylinder and the toroidal field coil of the T-15 facility made of steel in the scale 1-10. The coil model is made in two versions with different angles of clasping. Experimental results and theoretical dependences are presented. It is concluded that: all the experimental results are in the range between theoretical straight lines; with the increase of specific pressure the experimental results approach the theoretical straight line corresponding to the distribution of the reactive force according to the law of triangle
