AbstractAbstract
[en] The average value of ''sphericity'' S is determined for all the multinucleon π-C collisions at 40 GeV/c. The dependence of S variable on nucleon collision number is investigated. The obtained results are compared with the data on π-N interactions at 40 GeV/c and with tha data on e+e- annihilation. The calculations of S value within the cascade model of pion-carbon collisions are presented. Jet characteristics of multinucleon π-C collisions at 40 GeV/c, in the whole, differ sufficiently from jet characteristics of e+e- and hadron-hadron collisions. The account of particle rescattering in nuclei at simples.t approximation of cascade model gives the growth of sphericity and allows to distinguish qualitatively the sphericity difference of behaviour at elementary and nuclear interactions. Jet characteristics of the secondary hadrons, moving in the direction of primary pions, in multinucleon π-C collisions at 40 GeV/c and their dependence on energy agree well with data for e+e- annihilation and hadron-hadron interactions at identical energies of colliding particles
