AbstractAbstract
[en] In this thesis exchange of water protons in solutions of some weak electrolytes and polyelectrolytes is studied. Also the dynamical behaviour of water molecules in pure water is investigated. For these purposes nuclear magnetic resonance relaxation measurements, in solutions of oxygen-17 enriched water, are interpreted. The exchange rate of the water protons is derived from the contribution of 1H-17O scalar coupling to the proton transverse relaxation rate. This rate is measured by the Carr-Purcell technique.
