AbstractAbstract
[en] Combinations of the nickel-base superalloys MERL 76 and low carbon Astroloy, Rene 95 and low carbon Astroloy, Rene 95 and NASA-TRW-VIA were consolidated from prealloyed powders by hot isostatic pressing. These combinations were exposed to 870 C for 1500 hours, and in a gradient furnance to temperatures up to incipient melting and subjected to microstructural examinations. The only phases found at the interfaces were those which were also present in the component alloys
