AbstractAbstract
[en] The probabilistic risk-assessment (PRA) methodology provides a means to systematically examine the potential for accidents that may result in a release of hazardous materials. A PRA of a typical fusion-reactor fuel-processing system has been performed. This paper specifically evaluates the effectiveness of tritium-accident mitigation systems. The results of the evaluation are presented in a probability-consequence curve which describes the probability of various accident release magnitudes
