AbstractAbstract
[en] Between the inner sealed steel lining and the outer concrete containment there is an exhaustible space which may divided into sections. The space may be heated with inert gas during reactor operation which will prevent corrosion in this space or may be cooled in case of an accident. Heating and cooling the space between the lining and the containment must be conducted under continuous underpressure which allows continuous monitoring of leaks inside the sealed steel lining.
