AbstractAbstract
[en] A ruby with a very low absorption coefficient at a wavelength of 240 nm perpendicular to the optical axis (the ratio of absorption coefficients for wavelengths 405 and 240 nm is 5.5:1) is used as the measuring element of the dosemeter. The magnesium content is within 5x10-4 and 1x10-2%. The absorbed dose of ionizing radiation is determined on the basis of increased absorption at 450 nm or on the basis of the thermoluminescence effect. (Ha)
