AbstractAbstract
[en] Main characteristics of the magnetic toroidal spectrometer in which the magnetic field boundaries are inclined in respect to the optical axis, the charged particle source and a diaphragm slit are arranged out of the field symmetry axis and have annular configurations are studied analytically. A charged particle radial and azimuthal motion is considered. The formulae for calculating the beam linear transformation coefficients determining the spectrometer resolution are obtained. It is shown that the use of the mangetic field inclined boundaries permits to analyze particles in a wide energy range. Application of the off-axis annular diaphragm slit gives an opportunity to eliminate azimuthal aberrations partially or completely. Use of the boundary azimuthal focusing and annular particle source increases the spectrometer azimuthal acceptance. Application of inclined beam inlet and outlet permits to increase the spectrometer dispersion
