AbstractAbstract
[en] Given any pattern of symmetry breaking in SO(10), the low-energy neutral-current couplings gL and gR are constrained theoretically. We analyze two patterns of symmetry breaking, and show how present data can be used to confront theory. The ratios e2/g2L and e2/g2R are confined to a limited region. Lower bounds on the symmetry breaking scales in left-right models are obtained
