AbstractAbstract
[en] Project Gasbuggy included the detonation of a 29-kiloton nuclear device on December 10, 1967, at a depth of 4240 feet in the San Juan basin of northwestern New Mexico. The site restoration planning phase began in early 1978 and was completed in July 1978 with the issuance of the operational plan for well plugging and site restoration activities, NVO-195. The field activities were conducted over a six-week period during August and September of 1978. This report summarizes the field activities and describes the final site status, including the disposition of all project facilities and final surface and subsurface configurations
