AbstractAbstract
[en] A sixth-order model of a pressurized-water reactor (PWR) is developed and evaluated. The model is obtained by using point reactor kinetics, a single fuel rod, and a single lumped reactor-coolant node. Model state variables include delayed-neutron-precursor concentrations, average fuel and cladding temperatures, average core-coolant temperature, and measured reactor-outlet temperature. The model is validated with data from a test-reactor facility (LOFT)
