AbstractAbstract
[en] This paper describes a new in-reactor test loop in the NRX research reactor at Chalk River Nuclear Laboratories. The loop is designed to operate with pressurized water, superheated steam, or fog cooling, with the capability of blowing down from any mode. The main loop and auxiliary systems will be capable of containing the fission product releases caused by severe fuel failures which may result from some of the accident tests. (Auth.)
