AbstractAbstract
[en] An experiment called ZADIG 01 has been developed in the OSIRIS reactor which measures the deformation imposed by UO2 on the PWR zircaloy fuel cans during a power jump. Its aim is to calibrate a mathematical model of the UO2 can interaction. This paper deals with the implantation of the fuel rods, the calibration device used for optimalizing the in-pile results. It also exposes the set up of the experiment and its interpretation. The results obtained show that the deformation generated on the cladding of the fuel rods are measurable indeed, with the methods used and that their values are in good agreement with those obtained by the mathematical model.
