AbstractAbstract
[en] A new technique for indirect assessment of fracture toughness of 30KhMA, 35KhMFA, 38KhMA, 30Kh2NMA, 35L, 20KhGNR steels is described. The technique consists in conducting standard tensile and bending tests, recording of fracture parameters according to suggested calculating formula. Results of assesment of fracture toughness by suggested and other known indirect methods, as well as standard method for determination of fracture toughness are given. Results, obtained according to the suggested method correlate steady with fracture toughness values, determined by the direct method. Obtained fracture toughness values are analyzed on the base of standard mechanical characteristics
