AbstractAbstract
[en] A well-defined sample of radio-emitting ellipticals has been observed to discover if these galaxies contain unusual amounts of neutral hydrogen. At a detection limit of 3 x 108 M sun masses, independent of distance, at most 4 galaxies in 22 were detected. There is statistically weak evidence that these galaxies are more luminous at 5.0 GHz than the undetected ones, but any correlation between radio luminosity and Hi content must be extremely loose.
