AbstractAbstract
[en] A scintigraphic study was carried out on 39 patients late after a cranio-cerebral injury. High sensitivity of the method was established, there was a high percentage (in 35 out of 39) of modifications in the normal image. Some foci of increased accumulation of the activity in the brain or in the outlining are found as an indication of the changed blood-cerebral barrier or of a zone of post-contusion reactive widened vascularization. It is accepted that the scintigraph method with its simplicity, noninvasiveness, relatively low radiation loading, accessibly and low price can be used as screening for clarifying the condition of the patient before directing him to the new inVasive and expensive methods.
