[en] The Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM) is a co-ordinating centre for national laboratories working in metrology. In the area of neutron dosimetry, BIPM was asked to study the performance of tissue-equivalent ionization chambers of various designs in order to select a set of instruments which could serve as reference and transfer instruments. The other activities of the neutron measurement group at BIPM are also described. (author)
