[en] New ditetrazolylpolyethyleneoxides and thiooxides are prepared. An ability of ditetrazol derivatives to complexing was studied by the method of potentiometric titration of aqueous solutions of compounds in the presence of transition metal cations including Cd2+. Stability constants of these compounds with transition metal ions are calculated. The maximum complex stability corresponds to two heteroatom content in a noncyclic ligand chain
