AbstractAbstract
[en] The geochemical processes that influence the redistributions of potassium, thorium and uranium in the earth's crust and formation of radioactive anomalies that are of importance in population dose considerations are described. At the conclusion of the 1975 conference a number of recommendations were made which have been listed. It is hoped that UN agencies would support studies on natural radioactivity for better understanding of their behavior and extent of biological effects, if any, at the levels that exist in nature
