AbstractAbstract
[en] In the last twenty years radionuclides have mainly been applied in unsealed sources in monitoring the passage of materials through rotary kilns, and in sealed sources as part of industrial radiometric instruments. Significant achievements were gained especially in monitoring free passage through heat exchangers, moisture content in coke, kaolin, slag, ceramic masses, watery cement and fly ash suspensions, and in measuring the chemical composition of silicate materials and fuels.
