[en] A description is given of an experimental investigation of Alfven wave excitation (ω << ωsub(ci)) at low power level, carried out on the TCA Tokamak using a toroidally periodic antenna structure with purely meridional currents. Several new experimental facts are reported, which will be of importance for heating schemes in this frequency range. (author)
