[en] In a German boiling water reactor, the pysico-chemical I-131 species were determined in the plant exhaust and in the individual exhausts during four months. These measurements aimed in particular at determining the percentage and the source of the radiologically decisive elemental I-131 released to the environment. On an average 13% of the I-131 discharged with the plant exhaust consisted of elemental iodine. This was largely released with the exhausts from the reactor building and from the turbine building. In einem deutschen Siedewasserreaktor wurden waehrend vier Monaten die physikalisch-chemischen I-131-Komponenten in der Kaminfortluft und in den die Kaminfortluft bildenden Abluftstroemen bestimmt. Diese Messungen dienten vor allem der Bestimmung des Anteils und der Herkunft des in die Umgebung freigesetzten, radiologisch entscheidenden elementaren I-131. Das mit der Kaminfortluft abgegebene I-131 bestand im Mittel zu 13% aus elementarem Iod. Dieses wurde vor allem mit der Abluft aus dem Reaktorgebaeude und aus dem Maschinenhaus in die Umgebung freigesetzt. Der Hauptanteil war organisch gebundenes I. (orig./HP)Original Title
