AbstractAbstract
[en] The cross section for the production of hypernuclei by the capture of the Λ particles produced by the high energy heavy ion collision was estimated. First of all, the probability of the production of a Λ particle by the collision was obtained. The probability includes a probability of multiple nucleon-nucleon collision. The average number of the production of Λ particles is 0.015. The inclusive cross section of K+ and Λ particle production was obtained. The experimental values of the inclusive cross section of K+ particle production in Ne + Ne collision experiment at the energy of 2.1 GeV/A were compared with the theoretically estimated values. The theoretical values were a little smaller than the experimental values. The cross section of Λ particle production obtained theoretically is also presented. The production cross section of spallation fragments was obtained. In this paper, the spallation of incident nuclei or target nuclei due to the peripheral collision was considered. The exponential dependence of the production probability on the reaction Q value was seen. The production cross section of hypernuclei was also calculated. (Kato, T.)
