AbstractAbstract
[en] We have applied the techniques of theoretical and computational plasma physics to two important problems in mirror fusion. First, we have found that electron collisions with neutral gas play an important role in determining the leak width of a cusp confined plasma. Second, we have found that mirror plasmas are susceptible to parametric instabilities during electron cyclotron resonance heating
