[en] A limited review is performed of the Severe Accident Risk Assessment for the Limerick Generating Station. The review considers the impact on the core-melt frequency of seismic- and fire-initiating events. An evaluation is performed of methodologies used for determining the event frequencies and their impacts on the plant components and structures. Particular attention is given to uncertainties and critical assumptions. Limited requantification is performed for selected core-melt accident sequences in order to illustrate sensitivities of the results to the underlying assumptions
