AbstractAbstract
[en] The convergence of sequences of nuclear operators on a separable Hilbert space is studied. Emphasis is given to trace-norm convergence, which is a basic property in stochastic systems theory. Obviously trace-norm convergence implies uniform convergence. The central theme of the paper focus the opposite way, by investigating when convergence in a weaker topology turns out to imply convergence in a stronger topology. The analysis carried out here is exhaustive in the following sense. All possible implications within a selected set of asymptotic properties for sequences of nuclear operators are established. The special case of correlation operators is also considered in detail. (Author)

Estuda-se a convergencia de sequencias de operadores nucleares em um espaco de Hilbert separavel. Convergencia na norma-traco, que e uma propriedade basica na teoria de sistemas estocasticos, e enfatizada. Obviamente convergencia na norma-traco implica convergencia uniforme. Aqui o tema central focaliza a direcao oposta, investigando quando convergencia em uma topologia mais fraca vem implicar convergencia em uma topologia mais forte. A analise desenvolvida aqui e exaustiva no seguinte sentido. Todas as possiveis implicacoes em um conjunto selecionado de propriedades assintoticas para sequencias de operadores nucleares sao estabelecidas.
