AbstractAbstract
[en] The success of simple constituent quark models in single-hadron physics and their failure in multiquark physics is discussed, emphasizing the relation between meson and baryon spectra, hidden color and the color matrix, breakup decay modes, coupled channels, and hadron-hadron interactions via flipping and tunneling of flux tubes. Model-independent predictions for possible multiquark bound states are considered, with new evidence for stability of bound states containing two heavy quarks. 15 refs
