AbstractAbstract
[en] Preliminary calculations have been performed for the scattering of medium-energy protons by a wide range of nuclei. Using available phenomenological proton-nucleus optical model potentials, the total, reaction, elastic, differential elastic, and Rutherford cross sections were calculated as well as the polarization and the scattering S matrix. The calculations were performed for proton energies E/sub p/ in the range 10 less than or equal to E/sub p/ less than or equal to 200 MeV and target mass numbers in the range 27 less than or equal to A less than or equal to 238. The code SNOOPY-VIII was used to perform these preliminary calculations
